The new version of Waterkeeper Swim Guide for iPhone has been accepted by Apple and is now available on the App Store! iPhone & iPod users, please be sure you go to your app store and update Waterkeeper Swim Guide.

Waterkeeper Swim Guide 2.1 is now optimized for iOS 6 and iPhone 5 (phones with taller screens). Other upgrades include:

  • New beach page layout takes advantage of larger iPhone 5 screens.
  • Each beach now names the Waterkeeper organization responsible for “managing” that beach information and links to the local Waterkeeper website.
  • View even more beaches at once with new map clusters – you can see WAY more beaches at one time with this new cluster system. Check it out.
  • Pull to refresh the beach list – if you look at beach on the app, you can now force it to check for a new status update by pulling down on the beach list.
  • Improved photo viewing (you can swipe between different photos instead of having to back out to the main screen).
