Haw River Assembly

Haw River Assembly is a member supported nonprofit. They manage several citizen science programs to watchdog pollution sources in the watershed. Their Muddy Water Watch project allows volunteers to document sediment pollution and send documentation directly to the authorities in the area. Their River Watch project allows trained volunteers to monitor water quality four times a year, which is then reported to state regulatory agencies.
