The Wildlife Conservation Association (WCA) runs the Beaches of Nosara Water Quality Monitoring Project. The goal of the program is to provide year-round, weekly water quality information to the public in order to supplement the monitoring by the Ecological Blue Flag Program. This data is used to inform safe beach going and aquatic recreation at the Beaches of Nosara, Costa Rica.

The initiative is a program of the Wildlife Conservation Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting wildlife from the negative impacts of tourism and development.
