About Banda d’Além
Banda d´Além Beach is located on the right bank of the mouth of Ribeira de Machico. It is a beach that allows an immediate swim to those who are in the center of Machico.
It is an imported yellow sand beach, being one of the few references of its kind in Madeira Island and is framed in the emblematic bay of Machico. It is set in pleasant surroundings, making it one of the favorite places at the regional level.
About 70 meters long and 100 meters wide, the beach has changing cabins, showers, bathrooms and parking. Being always a candidate for Accessible Beach, it has access walkways, adapted bathroom and 3 parking spaces reserved for disabled users.
