Loulé Velho beach is located in a continuous strip of cliff very unstable, being completely surrounded by an extensive pine forest. When the sea takes the sand, leaves occasionally discovered ancient Roman salting tanks of fish and mud of an ancient lagoon-estuarine system, vestiges of a time when sea level was very earliest. On this site there are also ruins of a fishing village Carthaginian, which are submerged. In the far East has a beach support featuring a snack bar.
