This wonderful bay has recently been awarded as one of the best and most romantic beaches to visit in Mexico by the world's largest travel platform, TripAdvisor. It is perfect for swimming in its calm waters, paddle boarding, hiking from end to end, enjoying the restaurants on the sand and delighting in the pink sky at sunset. The name La Ropa is related to a curious anecdote: in colonial times a ship loaded with fine fabrics: muslins, woven products from Bombay, ribbons, shawls and stockings from China, sank off the coast of Guerrero and all these materials reached the beach mentioned.
