Sampling period: June 22nd to September 1st, 2017

Sampling frequency: All beaches are tested weekly

Beach closure: A “no swimming advisory” is posted on beaches in Ontario when E. coli levels are above 200 units per 100 mL or if levels are above 100 units for two consecutive days. For more information, visit: www.theswimguide.org/learn.

Sampling authority: Leeds, Grenville & Lanark Health Unit is responsible for testing water quality at all public beaches in the LGL region.
