Avery-Crouse Town Beach features a long sprawling sandy beach along the south shore of Newfound Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in the country. This is a great beach to come for the day, with great swimming and a new bike path. It also sits directly in front of The Big Catch, a great local restaurant known for its fresh seafood and delicious ice cream.
