The North Saskatchewan boasts plentiful fishing and is wildly popular among paddling enthusiasts along its entire length – right from the Bighorn Dam 400 kilometres upstream and into the heart of the City of Edmonton.
Cameron Heights is the location of the North Saskatchewan River's water intake for EPCOR's E.L. Smith water treatment plant. The site is located just upstream of Terwillegar Park which boasts a boat launch and a popular rocky beach used by recreational water users and dog owners.

Keep your distance from other people.
Practicing social distancing is essential right now. Follow the advice of the health experts. If your community has asked that you remain indoors and away from others, do so. Heading to the beach should only be considered an option if social distancing practices can be followed. Spending a day in any crowded place is the worst thing we can do for our most vulnerable right now and will counter the efforts to curb the virus’ spread.
