Olhos de Fervença

Source of water supply for the Municipality of Cantanhede and other neighboring areas, the Olhos da Fervença springs, in the Parish of Cadima, have attracted a significant annual influx of visitors, not only due to their unusual and unique features but also because they are integrated into a natural area of election.To take advantage of the site's tourist potential, a river beach was built, as part of a major intervention that included the correct use of its surrounding space as a leisure area, namely with the creation of a small sandy beach and a grassy meadow area for sunbathing and relaxation, pedestrian circuits, bar with terrace, changing rooms, picnic area and games field. There is supervision by 2 lifeguards during the bathing season.
