Porto da Calada

Located in the parish of Encarnação, this is the northernmost beach of the Mafra municipality, with the exception of the Porto do Barril beach, nowadays practically without sand.
It distinguishes it’s self by its natural beauty, forming a small and sheltered bay, framed by high and steep cliffs. Although its terrain is quite uneven, this beach is equipped with good road accessibilities and also broad parking facilities.
It is equipped with beach accessibility conditions for people with reduced mobility, having been awarded the prize "Accessible Beach".
