Quinta do Lago

This beach is situated right in the Ria Formosa National Park, an area with a great ecological and scenic balance. Quinta do Lago beach is associated to a high quality resort, with excellent infrastructures, o0ffering amongst other activities, golf and tennis, equestrian activities and a vast offering of nautical sports. The access to the beach is by way of a wooden bridge, perfectly in harmony with its surroundings, and the longest in Europe (more than 300m) and it is elevated above the salt-marsh of the ria. This area a large biodiversity and variety of habitats is also a privileged area for birdwatching where many aquatic species can be observed.
The dunes are well conserved and have a very rich, diverse and aromatic flora. There is a lifeguard and beach concession with shades and motorized nautical sports and bar/restaurant with sanitary installations.
