Fuseta Ria

Framed in the south of Portugal in the Algarve and in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, the Fuseta Ria beach is one of the bathing areas in the municipality of Olhão most sought during the summer. This beach consists of a strip of sand that develops the area of the Mouth of the Eta for the West, in the coastal zone of the Ria Formosa protected by the island of Armona that assumes on this end, for the local, the name of  island of Fuseta. In terms of accessibility this is the bathing area of the Municipality Olhão that with better access, since the urban core of Fuseta was developed from this location while all the surrounding infrastructure with roads and parking lots, pedestrian and cycle paths, which allow access to be made by any citizen in various means of transport, even to provide special conditions of mobility.The area around the beach of Fuseta Ria has been intervencionated a few years ago as a result of the award of 1st place in the "National Prize for the Environment - Local Government" in 1999 .
