Área Recreativa e de Lazer das Azenhas d´EL Rei

The Azenhas D'El Rei River Beach is located in the Azenhas D'El Rei Recreation and Leisure Area, located in Albufeira de Alqueva, Capelins parish, Alandroal municipality.

This will be the first river beach in the municipality of Alandroal and will integrate the network of Fluvial Beaches of Alqueva, located on the shores of the largest artificial lake in Europe, intends to be a reference place in the municipality and in the region, allowing to receive
hundreds of visitors, local and floating, national and foreign.

The Azenhas D’El Rei and Nautical Center Recreation and Leisure Area consists of a beach (sand area, meadow area, shaded area, first aid station and
surveillance, access to water for people with reduced mobility, panels
information and watchtower), anchorage, public bathrooms, public showers, picnic area, car park, water supply system, sanitation system, waste collection system, lighting, electricity and telecommunications networks.
