About Castelo
This is a small beach with about 120 metres, sheltered by a cliff with rock walls that rise to about 30 metres. With its various shapes and rock forms, you will encounter small inlets to the delight of the bathers. You reach the beach by wooden stairs. The parking area is on a dirt road that has paved side walks. The name derives from the watchtower that was built in the middle of the sixteenth century and it was used to watch the coast of pirates attacks coming from North of Africa. Nowadays, you can see the ruins that were once the watchtower situated near the access to the beach.
