Garrão-Nascente

Garrão-East beach is situated before a cliff and sand dunes, offering occasionally conditions to practice surfing. It is relatively isolated and so is frequented mostly by tourists with a car. Due to the big extension of sand, it is possible areas with more privacy. In Garrão west you find the Dunas Douradas Lagoon, while in Garrão-East there is the Garrão Lagoon, humid areas are of fresh water (very rare in coastal areas), encircled by pathos of pinewoods and very desirable for aquatic birds.
The beach, with lifeguard, has a concession, with shades to rent and two areas for motorized nautical sports. The high concentration of bars and restaurants confers it with privileged conditions in services making it a very sought-after beach.
