Armação de Pêra is one of the Algarve’s major tourist destinations, with its long stretch of sand and clear warm waters, where the local fishermen work harmoniously alongside the business of sun and beach tourism. The town spreads along and behind a wide bay with beaches about 3 Km in length with streams at each end, named Alcantarilha and Espiche.
