Helleneset

Helleneset is located at the city fjord south of Eidsvågneset. The beach can be easy accessed by bus to the bus stop Lønborg high school.Helleneset recreation area is one of Bergen's most central and best developed beaches. Here is a sandy beach for children, several diving boards, rocks and grass slopes. Out on the headline there is a children's pool (10x15 m, depth from 0,5 to 0,9). The wheelchair ramp is located here.The area has dressing rooms located close to the toilets, showers, permanent grills and several tables and benches.Outside the swimming season, the outdoor area is often used for fishing from shore with rod.
