This rural ramp provides access to the Oostanaula River just west of Calhoun and is a great launch site to paddle down to the Hwy 156 Ramp. There are no other amenities other than river access and decent parking in a gravel lot.

Samples are collected by trained CRBI Swim Guide staff weekly (each Thursday) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Results are analyzed and published each Friday here and at coosa.org. A test does not meet water quality standards when a presumptive E. coli level has an EPA Beach Action Value higher than 235 MPN/100ml. At this level, EPA estimates that more than 8 out of 1000 swimmers could become ill.
