It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Portimão.
Praia da Marina de Portimão Beach is part of the Rio Arade mouth by its west side. For being already inside the river mouth, the sea waters are very calm.
The beach has a sand of reduced size, west bounded by a pier of about 700 meters long.
Between the beach and the Marina de Portimão is a group of restaurants and night clubs that provides all the fun to the surroundings.
