Amieira

Set in the beautiful landscape of the Great Lake of Alqueva is born the first river beach of Portel's municipality, the Amieira's River Beach, located in the parish of Amieira, next to the river pier and offering 600 meters of sand, of which 150 are watched, plus a grassy area with awnings and a especific swimming area for children.

Fully inclusive and accessible to all who want to visit it, the Amieira's River Beach offers excellent access and parking conditions, as well as a caravan/campervan and picnic park.

There are also several services and equipments available, such as bar, restaurant, medical station, changing rooms, toilets and outdoor showers.

For the most active, there is also the possibility to rent equipment such as paddle boars, canoes and pedalos.
