Praia Fluvial de Mourão

The Inland Beach of Mourão is located near the Village of Mourão, in the Alqueva Dam, Alentejo. It has about 320 meters of sand, of which 100 meters are monitored. It is composed of a lawn with 45 sun hats, a floating swimming pool for children with sunbathing area and with safety balustrade, surrounded by net, and a floating platform with a diving tower, stairs for sunbathers and a slide.
The beach is also composed of a surveillance tower and a lifeguard zone, as well as a beach station with a first aid bag, a medical station and two parking lots, with the capacity of around 70 places, including for vehicles for people with reduced mobility.
Near the beach is located the Merendes Park which has tables, benches, shades and grills, which is connected to the sand by a wooden walkway.
The Fluvial Beach of Mourão is accessible to people with limited mobility, has a water access ramp and a Tiralo amphibious chair.
