Acerca de Baleia
Also known as Praia da Baleia, (Whale Beach), after an enormous cetacean was washed ashore on the beach in 1872. This beach is located in the southernmost end of the town, next to the hotel. It is one of the most visited beaches of the municipality, due to the fact that it has lifeguard, public toilets, showers and parking facilities. Guarded beach with lifeguard and beach SOS system.
