The Zavial Beach has a very long sandy beach that becomes more wide to the west along its entry. It is located at the mouth of a broad valley where the River empties into the hills. On the cliff, walking distance to the West, are the ruins of the Fort and battery of Zavial, dating from the 17th century. This beach is well frequented by lovers of nautical sports.
