Salgados

The coasts extensive and meandering outline with advancing dunes are interrupted by a small drop, resulting in the occurrence of waters that come from from Salgados lagoon during the winter period. The beach is accessed you walk through a tourist enterprise, that is associated with the golf course there. The beach has a sand area of 200 metres and a paved parking area that also accommodates spaces for the disabled. From the depths of the glass-like lagoon stems ample vegetation of reeds and canes binding into brackish water. Birds, such as, the coot, the cormorant, the flamingo are among many that can be observed as well as the ”long leg” which is near to extinction.
