Quarteira

The beach area of Quarteira is associated to an urban front with intensive use, very sought-after on a national level.
Delimitated by coastal defense breakwaters, and with accessibility and mobility for all (access to the beach is by ramps), it has lifeguards and has ample space for the public and an extensive concession area with shades. The management and security of the beach are adequate to the bug multiplicity of distinct usages and there are structures and entities vacationed to animation and information. It has a vast offering of tourism and culture, sustained by quality hotels and appellative leisure spaces, benefiting from facilities of services and commerce offered by the City of Quarteira.
The extensive boardwalk in Portuguese cobblestone (known as the Calçadão) that accompanies the beach area, is destined fro walking only, which is very attractive for long walks and moments of relaxation and leisure, seeing as it has diverse activities such as esplanades and lots of animation during the beach season.
