The beach of Oriñón, awarded the Blue Flag, stretches over a kilometer of golden sand and attracts a high number of visitors. Urban and windy, it has moderate waves and is easily accessible, with signage and access for people with reduced mobility. It is a protected area within the ZEC Río Agüera and the Montaña Oriental Natural Resource Management Plan. The beach offers restrooms, showers, trash bins, and regular cleaning. A lifeguard team ensures safety, with danger signs when necessary. It has a surf area and is 12 km from the Castro Urdiales marina. Unsupervised parking is available.
