You can get to the beach using the public transport network or your own vehicle by normal road.Near natural sites: Umia Ons Complex and O Carreirón:A Illa de Arousa is a privileged example of the beauty characterizing the coasts of the Rias Baixas region.The stunning island is situated on the right hand area of the Ría de Arousa, and joins Vilanova via a two kilometre bridge that was built in 1985. Its morphology reminds us of the number seven, as if it were representing its surface area - 7km²- and where there is a population of almost 5,000. The coastline covers a distance of 36km with 11km of beaches.The meandering coastline of A Illa de Arousa offers the visitor a whole host of beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters from the great extensions at Camaxe, Camaxiñas or Area da Secada to the little coves such as Punta Carreirón surrounded by dunes and pine trees, where bathers can enjoy a combination of peace and nature, far from the noise and crowds of the city.
