Puerto Deportivo de Isla Cristina

Isla Cristina is one of the places on the coast of Huelva with more tourism. It has twelve kilometres of beaches with fine sands. transparent water and more than three thousand hours of sunshine a year. Hotel and residential facilities are very modern, and the tourist complex Islantilla is notable for the quality of its hotels, houses, flats, shops and sports facilities, including a 27-hole golf course.

The local gastronomy is based on dishes made with fish and seafood such as tuna, sardines, cuttlefish, prawns and clams.

The most interesting fiestas are Carnival, Holy Week, the Fair and fiestas dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen, during the month of July.

The marina, inaugurated in 1993, has modern facilities and its location near the town centre allows easy access. The Harbour Master's building and the one housing a shopping centre are both worthy of a special mention.
