The area known as Morro do Governo is part of the APA of Serra de Sapiatiba, in the part that we understand as restinga, where Ponta da Farinha is located. Next to it, in Iguaba Grande, is located Ubás Beach. The beach has clear and calm waters, with a regular bottom without stones, great for children and the elderly. It has a rich fauna, flora and indigenous history in its surroundings and is part of Lagoa de Araruama, a lagoon. Next to it, water sports, trails and ecological walks can also be performed.
