Praia do Patacho is one of the most beautiful and deserted beaches on the Brazilian coast, located inside an Environmental Preservation Area (APA) - Costa dos Corais and Marine Manatee Sanctuary. Praia do Patacho belongs to the municipality of Porto de Pedras, neighboring São Miguel dos Milagres and close to Maragogi and Japaratinga, all on the northern coast of Alagoas.
