With soft golden sands that in places are backed by grassy sand dunes Sutton on Sea beach is among the best on this coastline.
Swimming from the sandy beach is completely safe, but in any event, Mablethorpe has its own lifeboat station and the beach is patrolled at regular daily by RNLI Lifeguards during the main season. The beach is central to all of the local amenities that Sutton on Sea has to offer.
