Cappa is a small rocky beach. There is a small pier and harbour. It is close to Scattery Island which is a worthwhile place to visit. A good place for birdwatchers. Cappa is located on the R473, 1km from Kilrush which is the closest town. The beach is lifeguard patrolled during the bathing season (lifeguard times are displayed on the information noticeboard at the beach).www.blueflagireland.orgwww.clarecoco.ie
