Sea Girt -The Terrace

This Atlantic Ocean beach is located near the Sea Girt Lifeguard Headquarters. Visitors to Sea Girt's beaches must display a beach badge at all times (children under 12 are free). You can purchase the badge at the Bathing Pavilion Office or at various points along the beach. The beaches are patrolled by the Sea Girt Beach Patrol from June until Labor Day. Picnics are not allowed on the beach. For your safety, mats, body boards without skegs or any other flotation device, are only permitted at certain beaches. Bath houses can be found at the Bathing Pavilion; there are also lockers located here. No dogs allowed except before March 15th and after September 30th. Please note: The Terrace Blvd beach in Sea Girt – closes for 24 hours after 0.1 inch of rainfall in 24 hours; closes for 48 hours after 2.8 inches of rainfall in 24 hours.
