Playa Acapulquito was first awarded Blue Flag status in 2017 and is a Blue Flag beach for the 2023 season.*
Playa Acapulquito is a beautiful sandy beach that offers ideal wave action for beginner surfers. The beach is also popular for snorkeling due to its clear waters. Being situated centrally in the town of San José del Cabo means there are many restaurants and bars nearby to choose from. Lifeguards are present on this beach and there is also a parking lot 200 metres west of the beach near the highway.
*A Blue Flag beach is one that meets strict water quality and safety criteria. These beaches are certified annually as being clean, accessible, eco-friendly, and having great water quality!
