Areia Branca - Foz

Areia Branca - Foz beach is located between two bathing areas, limited to the north by Areia Branca and to the south by Areal Sul.
It is a beach where you can enjoy the greater depth of the sandy area, being one of the great attractions for surfing. The surf schools, which also provide accommodation for those who want to have a more extended experience, are managed by some of the surfers belonging to the first generations of practitioners of the sport in Portugal.
Beach with strong influence of Foz do Rio Grande. Through the wooden bridge and walkway, it is possible to reach the Areal Sul beach through the dune area, which involves an environmental recovery intervention, in the old ultralight trail.
The area upstream of the beach was the subject of a requalification project, including the construction of two pieces of equipment in accordance with the POC-ACE beach plan.
The Camping Park is located a few meters from the Areia Branca-Foz beach, and is open all year round.
