The Portinho of Faial da Terra is located at the bottom of a cliff whith 60 m high, at the southwest border of the Faial da Terra Valley. In the area around the port, the area is formed by rolled rock and sand. The marine exposition is elevated. The bathing zone is in open sea with sand bottom and rolled rocks.
