Praia Formosa is located in the south coast of Santa Maria Island and is part of Almagreira parish. The landscape is formed of high green hills surrounding the entire place. The seaside is made up of three white sand beaches with crystal clear waters, all having good conditions for water sports. The official swimming zone was defined on the central beach, where support infrastructures can be found In this spot it’s particularly pleasant the natural light and vibrant colours, ending the day with smooth and pleasant sunsets.
