S. João da Caparica

The beaches of Costa da Caparica stretch over 15 kilometers. Most beaches are guarded during the summer, they have parking and restaurants / bars support.

The beach of São João da Caparica has a very extensive beach, with about 1.4 km. Located north of the Costa de Caparica and south of the Cova do Vapor, the beach of São João da Caparica is very popular for all types conditions it has to offer. From world class waves to an excellent beach area. In the North zone, it is delimited by a pontoon that enters about 225 meters by the sea. The spring, the green of the Mata dos Franceses, sometimes brings a country scent to the beach. To the south, there is another pontoon about 150 meters long, where the INATEL Camping Park and the Camping Club of Lisbon are located. In the distance, you can see the Torre de São Lourenço or Torre do Bugio.
