The pebble stone beach is located between the base of a cliff and the mouth of the stream Ribeira do Faial. It has a solarium with one seawater swimming pool for children, restaurant, bar, first-aid post, showers and sanitary installations including for disable people. It also has a children playground, two play courts and car park.
