Located south of Portugal, in the Algarve region and in the municipality of Olhão, the Fuzeta Mar beach belongs to the island of Armona. This is one of the five barrier islands that are part of the Ria Formosa lagoon, which is a string of sandy islands and peninsulas arranged parallel to the coast, protecting a lagoon that forms a maze of marshes, canals, the area of mud and islets that protect part of the coastal strip.
