Very extensive sand beach with good infra-structures and equipments, with a diversity of aquatic activities. The access can be by car or by foot through a gravel path. It has a small parking near the beach, with a space for the disabled. With very high cliffs and its ravines, this beach becomes one of the best places where the “abelharucos” (A type of bird from the Meropideo’s family) dig up their nests during the mating times. In the year 2000, it was awarded as the Golden Beach due to it’s rich contribution towards the natural environment.
