Rare and endangered halophyte plants appeared along the rear of Velika Plaza significant as the last refuge for some of them. The most endangered plant species on Montenegrin beaches is Sand Lily Pancratium maritimum, which can be found only on the locality of Velika Plaza in narrow zone of psamo-halophyte vegetation in the rear. This species has disappeared from other habitats in Montenegro and it is included on national Red List; Description of the location on the beach: Beach is located on Velika Plaza, 5 km from town of Ulcinj.
