Churn Creek

Churn Creek is one of the four Bayside Creeks, located south of Still Pond Creek in Kent County. Bacteria monitoring is done near a beach area at the mouth of the creek. The beach is accessible by boat or kayak and is a popular location for boaters to raft up. The easiest way to access Churn Creek is by using the Still Pond Station Park and Still Pond Coast Guard Station for boat launch. From the mouth of the creek it is about 2.5 miles to the headwaters, where an active beaver dam is located. El Arrollo Churn es uno de los cuatro arroyos del lado de la bahía, ubicado al sur de Still Pond Creek en el condado de Kent. El monitoreo de bacterias se realiza cerca de un área de playa en la desembocadura del arroyo. La playa es accesible en bote o kayak y es un lugar popular para que los navegantes balseen. La forma más fácil de acceder al Arroyo Churn es utilizando el Still Pond Station Park y la Still Pond Coast Guard Station para el desembarco de botes. Desde la desembocadura del arroyo hay unas 2,5 millas hasta los afluentes, donde se encuentra una presa activa de castores.
