This beach has a Surfline cam and surf report forecast as well, so it is easy to check out the conditions online. There are lifeguards and limited on-street parking. Facilities are about two blocks south with restrooms and a casual restaurant, Park&Ocean, with beer and wine available across A1A in Birch State Park. To the north are single-family homes on the Intracoastal Waterway side. The city’s promenade sidewalk runs along A1A with no buildings to impede your view of the ocean for about 5 miles. The promenade provides a safe environment to walk, jog, rollerblade, skate, bike, or just sit and enjoy.
