Little Falls Watershed Alliance

Little Falls Watershed Alliance is a stewardship group for the Little Falls watershed located in the lower corner of Montgomery County, Maryland, and the Upper NW neighbourhoods of Washington DC. Following the adage “think global, act local”, LFWA focuses on protecting the fragile natural environment of our small sub-watershed – monitoring the health of the local creeks, restoring habitat in our local parks and working to ensure that the natural spaces in our area persist for generations to come.

With only one part-time staff, Little Falls Watershed Alliance relies on volunteers to help us fulfill our mission. We run over 40 events a year including monthly trash pick-ups, invasive weed removal workdays and creek monitoring activities. We invite you to join us in our stewardship.
