-After parking in the gravel lot, the trailhead leads down an easy and beautiful path to DeShazo Falls (5 mins), and continues on to the Mayo
River (~15 mins) and miles of additional trails. Upon arriving at the head of DeShazo Falls, a stone stairway leads down to the beach. An
alternative trail is found to your left, but is dirt and narrow.

*Pro Tip
-There are no restroom facilities. Restaurants/stores located nearby in Stoneville, NC.
-Beautiful, shallow swimming area at DeShazo Falls. (NO LIFEGUARD)
-Bring a camera, pack a lunch, plan on staying. Beautiful section of State park.
-View the North and South Mayo convergence along the trail (~30 mins from parking).
