About Ghogla Beach Diu
Ghogla Beach Diu was first awarded Blue Flag status for in October 2020 and is a Blue Flag beach for the 2023 season.*
Ghogla Beach is a wide and sandy beach that is centrally located in the town of Diu, but remains relatively uncrowded. The beach is wheelchair accessible, has lifeguards, and offers beautiful sunset views. Visitors can find restaurants nearby in the town centre, beach umbrellas for sun shelter, and water sport rentals such as parasailing and motorboat rides. This beach is also great for swimming as the water is generally calm and clear.
*A Blue Flag beach is one that meets strict water quality and safety criteria. These beaches are certified annually as being clean, accessible, eco-friendly, and having great water quality!
