About Eco Beach Kasarkod
Eco Beach Kasarkod was awarded Blue Flag status in October of 2020.*
Eco Beach Kasarkod is a public beach maintained by the the Kartaka State Forest Department. The beach is wide and sandy and has all the facilities that visitors many need such as restrooms, drinking fountains, changing rooms, parking, and lifeguards. Across the beach visitors can find signage and information about the local marine and forest species as well as shaded areas to relax under. The beach is also wheelchair accessible.
*A Blue Flag beach is one that meets strict water quality and safety criteria. These beaches are certified annually as being clean, accessible, eco-friendly, and having great water quality!
