About Tanyard Creek Ramp
Located on the South side of Allatoona, Tanyard Creek Ramp has plenty of parking and a dock. Users are required to pay a $5 fee for parking or launching a boat. Access to the lake here can be restricted when water levels are very low.

Samples are collected by trained CRBI Swim Guide staff weekly (each Thursday) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Results are analyzed and published each Friday here and at coosa.org.
A test does not meet water quality standards when a presumptive E. coli level has an EPA Beach Action Value higher than 235 MPN/100ml. At this level, EPA estimates that more than 36 out of 1000 swimmers could become ill.
